This creamy, spicy, and cheesy buffalo chicken dip gluten free recipe is the ultimate party appetizer or comforting snack. It’s incredibly easy to make and guaranteed to be a crowd-pleaser!
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken breast (from 2–3 chicken breasts or 1 rotisserie chicken)
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream (or plain Greek yogurt)
- 1/2 cup gluten-free buffalo sauce (such as Frank’s RedHot Original)
- 1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- Optional: 2 tbsp gluten-free ranch or blue cheese dressing
- Optional: Sliced green onions or chives, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat Oven & Prep Chicken: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). If not already, shred your cooked chicken breast.
- Combine Wet Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and buffalo sauce until smooth.
- Add Chicken & Cheese: Fold in the shredded chicken and 1 1/2 cups of the shredded cheese blend (reserve a small amount for topping).
- Transfer & Top: Spoon the mixture into an 8×8 inch or 9×9 inch baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining reserved cheese on top.
- Bake: Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and the cheese topping is melted and lightly golden.
- Garnish & Serve: If desired, drizzle with ranch or blue cheese dressing and sprinkle with green onions or chives before serving with your favorite gluten-free dippers!
