  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon or orange zest (optional, for brightness)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch (optional, for extra thickness)

Instructions

  • Take your dairy-free cream cheese out of the refrigerator 30-60 minutes before you begin to allow it to soften beautifully.
  • In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the softened dairy-free cream cheese, sifted powdered sugar, liquid sweetener (if using), and vanilla extract. If including citrus zest or a cornstarch slurry, add them now.
