- 1 medium butternut squash (about 2 lbs), peeled, seeded, and cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1–2 tablespoons olive oil
- ½ teaspoon sea salt, or to taste
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground, or to taste
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey (optional, for a sweeter profile)
Instructions
- 1. Prep the Squash: Peel, deseed, and cut the butternut squash into uniform 1-inch cubes.
- 2. Season: In a large bowl, toss the squash cubes with olive oil, salt, pepper, and any optional seasonings until well-coated.
- 3. Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3-5 minutes.
