Ingredients
- 1 large ripe mango, peeled and cubed (about 1.5 cups) or 1.5 cups frozen mango chunks
- 1 cup plain unsweetened Greek yogurt
- 1/4 – 1/2 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy, as needed for consistency)
- 1–2 tsp honey, maple syrup, or 2 pitted Medjool dates (optional, to taste)
- Pinch of ground green cardamom
- 1/2 cup ice cubes (if using fresh mango)
Instructions
- Prepare the mango: If using fresh mango, peel and cut the flesh from the pit.
- Combine ingredients: Add mango chunks (fresh or frozen), Greek yogurt, milk (start with 1/4 cup), optional sweetener, cardamom, and ice (if using fresh mango) to a high-speed blender.
- Blend until smooth: Blend on high until completely smooth and creamy. Scrape down sides if necessary.
- Adjust: Taste and add more sweetener or milk if desired for sweetness and consistency.
- Serve immediately: Pour into glasses and enjoy right away for the best flavor and texture. Garnish with a sprinkle of cardamom or a mint leaf if desired.
