A foundational recipe for a perfectly creamy vanilla milkshake using the Ninja Creami. Customize with your favorite mix-ins for endless variations.
Ingredients
- 1 cup whole milk (or oat milk for dairy-free)
- 2–3 tablespoons granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Optional: 1 tbsp instant vanilla pudding mix (powder) for extra creaminess
- Optional mix-ins: chocolate chips, cookie pieces, fruit, sprinkles
Instructions
- Prepare the Base: In a Ninja Creami pint, combine milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and optional instant pudding mix. Whisk thoroughly until sugar is dissolved and all ingredients are well combined. Do not overfill past the MAX FILL line.
- Freeze: Place the lid on the pint and freeze on a level surface for at least 24 hours, until solid.
- Process: Remove the pint from the freezer, take off the lid, and place it into the outer bowl. Secure the outer bowl lid with the paddle attached. Lock the assembly onto the Ninja Creami machine and select the ‘Milkshake’ program.
- Add Mix-ins (Optional): After the ‘Milkshake’ program finishes, if adding mix-ins, create a small well in the center of the processed mixture. Add your desired mix-ins (e.g., 2 tablespoons chocolate chips). Place the pint back into the machine and select the ‘Mix-in’ program.
- Re-Spin for Creaminess: If your milkshake appears crumbly or powdery after processing (and mix-ins, if applicable), add 1-2 tablespoons of additional milk over the top of the mixture. Place back into the machine and select ‘Re-spin.’
- Serve: Scoop out your perfectly creamy milkshake immediately and enjoy!
