Homemade Peach Gummy Rings

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: Approx. 40-50 gummy rings (depending on mold size)

Description

Craft these delightful and vibrantly flavored peach gummy rings right in your kitchen. Bursting with real fruit and perfectly chewy, they’re a superior snack or treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (240ml) fresh peach puree (from about 23 medium ripe peaches)
  • 3 tablespoons unflavored gelatin powder (approx. 3 packets)
  • 1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon citric acid (adjust to taste for tartness)
  • Optional: 1/4 teaspoon peach extract and a few drops of orange/red food coloring

Instructions

  • 1. Prepare Peach Puree: Peel, pit, and chop ripe peaches. Blend until smooth, then strain through a fine-mesh sieve into a small saucepan to ensure a silky puree.
  • 2. Bloom Gelatin: In a separate bowl, sprinkle gelatin over 1/4 cup of the peach puree (or cold water). Whisk and let sit for 5-10 minutes until bloomed and jiggly.
  • 3. Combine & Heat: Add the bloomed gelatin, remaining peach puree, sugar, and citric acid to the saucepan. Heat over low-medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar and gelatin are fully dissolved (do not boil). Stir in optional extract/coloring.
  • 4. Pour & Chill: Carefully pour the mixture into silicone gummy molds or a parchment-lined shallow baking dish. Refrigerate for 2-4 hours, or until completely firm.
  • 5. Unmold & Finish: Remove gummies from molds or cut into desired shapes if using a baking dish. If desired, lightly toss in sugar or a sugar-citric acid mix. Serve and enjoy!
