  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: Approx. 50-70 gummies (depending on mold size)

Description

Craft your own vibrant and chewy ring gummies at home with this easy-to-follow recipe. Bursting with flavor and a satisfying texture, these homemade treats are perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2.5 tbsp (about 2.5 envelopes) unflavored gelatin powder
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1 (3 oz) package flavored gelatin (e.g., Jell-O brand)
  • 12 tbsp granulated sugar or other sweetener (optional, for extra sweetness)
  • 1/41/2 tsp citric acid (optional, for sourness)
  • A few drops of food coloring (optional, for vibrant color)
  • Non-stick cooking spray (for molds)

Instructions

  • 1. Lightly grease your silicone ring molds with cooking spray and wipe off any excess. Set aside.
  • 2. In a medium saucepan, sprinkle the unflavored gelatin powder evenly over the cold water. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes to bloom.
  • 3. Place the saucepan over low heat. Whisk gently and continuously until the gelatin is completely dissolved and the mixture is clear. Do not boil. Remove from heat.
  • 4. Stir in the flavored gelatin powder until fully dissolved. Add optional sugar, citric acid, and food coloring, mixing until well combined.
  • 5. Carefully pour the warm gelatin mixture into the prepared ring molds.
  • 6. Transfer molds to the refrigerator and chill for at least 2-4 hours, or until completely firm.
  • 7. Once set, gently pop the gummies out of the molds. Store in an airtight container at room temperature or in the refrigerator.
